Ramadan Bakery Boxes Fundraiser started with an unfortunately sad story. After hearing the experiences of my fellow Muslim students and my own experiences, I decided that something had to be done. The prevalence of Islamophobia in my community was ever-growing and I pledged that I would help my community become more friendly for the Muslim community. As a result, Ramadan Bakery Boxes was formed. Having a passion for baking, I formulated a plan to create Informational Bakery Boxes. The Bakery Boxes serve as friendly gifts for friends and peers during the month of Ramadan, but they are also designed to include information about Islam to help dispel misinformation. It is my firm belief that misinformation is the primary cause of prejudice, therefore the Boxes are aimed to inform people and prevent Islamophobia. I could not be more proud of Ramadan Bakery Boxes and how it has grown!
